  1. Dear Carrie, Kerry and family,
We were very shocked to read about the passing of Louise, we had no idea that she was ill. There are no words that can ease the very deep loss and huge void that you must be feeling. We just hope you can draw some comfort in the knowledge that others are holding you in their thoughts and prayers.
I first met Louise and Nick in the early 80s when Mike and I were first married and I was new to Petrolia. Mike and Nick ( along with some other crazy guys! ) played recreational baseball for a year or two with the “ Sultans of Swat”. I’m not sure if I learned how to play baseball from watching them, but everyone had fun socializing in the process and I got to know Louise from chatting with the other wives at the games.
I hope you can take some comfort in the thought that your beloved Mom and Dad / grandparents / great grandparents are now finally together again and experiencing the peace and glories of heaven that we all imagine and hope for.
    Love Annie and Mike Bourque

  10. Carrie and Greg and families – our sincerest condolences on your Moms passing. Linda had worked with Louise in years past but in more recent years we had the pleasure of having Louise as a neighbour. She was an awesome neighbour and friend and we will miss her dearly. She always talked about her family and it was obvious that you had all instilled a great pride in her over the years. As the Irish say – May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft on your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Rest In Peace Louise.
    Linda and Les Weir.
