SITZES, Jean Marie – Age 63 of Sarnia, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Oliver “Jarve” Sitzes (2015) for 39 years. Loving mother of Richard (Carly) Sitzes, Clement (Angela) Gosselin, Doreen (Greg “Tubby”) Sitzes, Maureen (Mike) Ryan, Duane (Bonnie) Sitzes, Colin (Amanda) Sitzes. Cherished grandmother of Olivia, Damian and Jade Sitzes, Joshua and Michelle Ryan, Zachary and Heidi Sitzes as well as several great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers Frank Lafond and sisters Aline Lafond, Nicole St. Andre, Danielle Hanson, Susan Jacklin, Denise Winterburn as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Dan and Theresa Grandmont, brothers Andre, Bruno and Harvey Lafond. Jean loved to follow the Nascar races and did not like to be interrupted while the race was on television. Jean will be greatly missed by her Facebook friends.

Following her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.

  5. We were both stunned when we heard Jeannine had passed. We had just spoken to her the night before.
    She had said to us that she was very, very tired and she sounded very, very tired. And then she hung up the phone.
    We never got to say goodbye. She knew it was her time. May she rest in peace with Jarve. We pray that all the
    great memories will help the whole family and friends get through this tough time. One day at a time. God bless.

  7. Jean, I am so sorry! I did’nt even get to say goodbye. This was way too soon! It was not your time yet. I will always love you and think of you. You are and were my “partner” for 15 years!
