1GOSTICK, Doris Diane – Age 72, surrounded by her family Doris peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved wife of Robert “Gus”. Loving mother of Stacy (Walt) and Melvin. Survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Ruby Rumbold and her brother Ken (Shirley) Rumbold. Doris will be missed by all who knew her. Doris enjoyed fishing and out fished Gus every time, she was an avid bingo player and will be deeply missed by her fan club in Wallaceburg. “Remember me as I used to be. Think of me, remember my smile. I am at peace now, I am me.”

Funeral Details
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services held at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home, Brigden. A public graveside service will be announced at a later date.

  19. I have known Doris all my life.Was neighbour till she married & moved to Brigden. She was so kind & always thought of others. Had a lot of great visits. She sure will be missed. God bless.
