IMG 3714CHRIS JOHN BROWN, husband, father, brother and friend passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 55. Chris will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend Stacey, and his 2 precious boys Devin (Sarah) and Riley (Haley). Chris will be fondly remembered by his siblings Gary (Nancy) Brown, Joanne VanDoorn (Randy) and Jim (Kathy) Brown and brother in law Scott Hillman (Amanda). Chris is predeceased by his parents Jack (2011) and Nancy (2008) Brown and his in laws Wayne (Trudy) Hillman and brother in law Gord VanDoorn. Chris will also be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care and the Smiles To Remember (STR) Program.

Due to current pandemic restrictions, a private visitation will be held at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden. A celebration of Chris’s life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health – Palliative Care (www.bwhf.ca or mail cheques to the funeral home).

    You where always someone who could put a smile on my face. You always cast light on everyone that knew you even from a very young age. Even at times when things were difficult for me worlds away I would think of some of the crazy things we did together. That always could make me laugh regardless of the shit show I was in. I will always be grateful to have known you and always regret to have never told you this!
    Losing a great father to cancer is not lost on me. I would like to tell you it gets better and the hurt goes away but alas that would be a lie.
