ANDERSON, Donald – Age 81, passed away at Oaks Retirement Village, Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Beloved husband of Doris Anderson (Northcott).Cherished father of Marnie (Keith) Burrell. Grandfather of Dr. Alishya (Bruce) Burrell and Bryan Burrell and Alec and Presley Knowles. Loved brother of Joyce (John) Henderson, Joan (Robert) Jackson and Melvin (Becky) Anderson. Predeceased by Son Marc Duane Anderson (2007), brother Dr. Robert Kenneth Anderson (2000), Sister-in-law Jitske Anderson (Schaafsma) (1998), sister Melba Anderson (1941), Brother Bruce Anderson (1946). Don loved his life of farming on the sixth line of Moore. He will be missed by family and friends. We will miss his wonderful smile and laugh. A special thank you to the staff of the Oaks Retirement Village of Wallaceburg for the amazing care and love you showed Don. You guys went above and beyond to make this hard journey bearable, you are adored. Cremation has taken place.

Funeral Service
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Sixth Line United Church at 11:00 am.

    Sorry I didn’t get a chance to talk to any of you after the memorial service, but wanted to let you know that we have been thinking about your family and and praying that you would experience the grace of God in a new and personal way in your time of loss. I have a lot of good memories of times spent with Don at the coffee shop in Brigden . Our families go back a few generations.
