SNARYSNARY, Stewart Arthur – Passed away peacefully with family at his side on April 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Sylvia Snary (nee Gashyna) for 25 wonderful years. Loving father of Charles (Jen) Snary , Shelley (Chris) Bogaert and Carolyne (Richard) Bradshaw and step father of Wanda (Steve) Heeley, Sean (Victoria) Kearley and Craig (Anna)Kearley. Cherished grandfather of Samantha (Richard), Emily (Ryan), Thomas (Mya), Kandace (Robert), Korrie (John), Craig, Matt, Heaven, Taylor, Connor, Ceceillia, Nikolas and Justin. Great-grandfather of Joshua, Burton, Lainey, Carter and Kaden. Stew is also survived by his brother Grant Snary (Melodie) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, John and Verla (Greenwood), wife Marion Snary, son Dale Snary, grandson Michael  Bradshaw, brother Morley (Lois) and Gordon (Theresa)  Stew was retired from Ford Motor Co. after 22 years of service. In retirement, Stew and Sylvia enjoyed many trips in their fifth wheel and their winters down south. He was an avid golfer, hiker and loved a good game of shuffleboard. Stews family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Riverside Place for the compassion and care given over the last years. Cremation has taken place as per Stew’s wishes.

Funeral Service Details
A celebration of his life will take place at Windsor Christian Fellowship, 4490 Seventh Concession Rd, Windsor, ON, on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11 a.m.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Bear Creek Cemetey.

  3. Stew has been a good friend of mine from 60 years. I met him in Brigden Baptist Church and have been friends ever since then. We would meet 1 or 2 times most years . I worked for his electric company off and on and when it closed up I got him to come to Windsor and apply for a job at Fords. He lived in my house for 6 months before he bought a house in Windsor. We had good times in Florida after retirement. H e left Florida and won’t to Arizona I stayed in Florida for winter months. This maid our meeting slow down I only saw him once in the nursing home but my visit was with silvia and not stew for he was in poor condition. We have been friends for many years
