ANDERSON, Dorothy (Nee Farr) – Age 78, from Oil Springs passed away at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on March 31, 2021. She was born July 4, 1942 in Oil Springs, Ontario. Daughter to the late Ruby (Gatecliff) 2006 and Norman Farr 1981. Beloved wife of the late Lyle G. Anderson (1996). Loving mother to Tammy Gayle and Cindy Carter. Predeceased by her son Michael (1997). Special grandmother to Errol Gayle, Krystal Gayle, Patsy (Eric) Jensen and Patrick Carter. Great grandmother of 7. Dear sister to Gary Farr, Linda Farr-Weireter and Judy Brown. Predeceased by Ken Farr, Lenard Farr, Allen Farr and MaryAnn. Dorothy loved her animals, plants, gardening and quilting. She worked many years at the Canning Factory in Dresden, Ontario.

Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden, on Friday, April 2, 2021. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, those who wish to attend must RSVP with a time to attend the visitation: Please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory for those in attendance.

    So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I enjoyed reconnecting with her while I’ve been doing hair at Fiddick’s.
    It always made my day to see her smile when I finished her hair. RIP Dear Dorothy.
