ANNETT, Charles Ernest “Ernie” – Age 74 of Sombra Township, passed away at London Health Sciences, University Campus on Saturday, January 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Carolyn Joyce (Vail) Annett for 52 years. Loving father of Mark and Souzanne, Steven and Dana, Jason and Jen Wardell, John and Shawn. Cherished grandfather of Kirstin, Austin, Rachel, Derek, Kyle and Alissa. Survived by his brother Ross and Ilene Annett, his sister Shirley and Peter Kumpf as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Leato (Stevens) Annett and his daughter Sandra Annett.

PRIVATE FAMILY VISITATION
A private immediate family visitation will take place at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on January 21, 2015. Cremation to follow.

  1. So sorry to hear about Ernie….will be missed. He always busy doing things for others; Your whole family is in our thoughts and prayers.

  2. So sorry about hearing of Ernie’s passing. I worked with him for years and always enjoyed his personality and dedication. When something went wrong he seemed to be the one that had the “let’s get it done and carry on” attitude that kept me going and not losing it. Two of my girls worked along with Ernie and Leanna usually asked me when I saw her or spoke with her on the telephone if I had talked or seen Ernie around the mill lately. He was a great guy and mentor!
