  1. Sorry to hear the loss of Bernie. I have known the family for a very long time. He always knew how to have fun…my condolence to his family…..

  2. May you Rest In Peace Bernie, we sure had some good times… teach em how to be-bop in heaven, good bye my friend !

  3. Bernie was a good friend of my family. When I was a young boy, just 10 yrs old, I was struck by a car and spent a tonne of time at University hospital in London. Bernie was there at the same time and would come down to my floor and visit me. He kept a little boy company and sane. I remember that I had been there weeks and weeks and hadn’t seen anything but my room. Bernie wheeled down with some of his friends from his floor and used the bed table mirrors to help me see down the hall, or down to the ground outside. All I could see was sky. He didn’t have to be that kind of guy…didn’t havegto do those things for a little kid. He did. I’ll never forget him. He was everything I needed then. He kept me from falling apart. He visited me all the time.

    My condolences. A brilliant guy.

  4. Extending sincere sympathy to the family. Bernie was a great, loyal friend, we sure had a ton of fun and good times together over the years. He was a guy you could always count on, in good times and bad.
I know a sudden loss of a loved one is difficult on the family whose left behind, but leaving this world suddenly, is exactly the way he would have wanted it, he was not a guy for suffering or fanfare….
or dressing up for such an occasion as this.
Rest in Peace my friend. Love Always.
