Bruton, Pauline

July 4, 1922 ~ January 5, 2017

BRUTON, Pauline – She made her transition peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia. Born in Sarnia, Pauline Bruton (nee McCrie) was predeceased in 2006 by her husband, Robert of 53 years. Loving mother of William (Karen) Bruton and Carol Andrew. Cherished grandmother of Christine (Brad) Baker, Mike (Allyssa) Bruton, Amanda Bruton and Heather Andrew. Loving great-grandmother to Charlee and William Baker and Bennett Bruton. She will be missed by her sister Bernice Pequegnat and many nieces and nephews. Pauline will be remembered for her love of her family, her delicious cooking and family celebrations. She was actively involved in the Brigden United Church for many years. Pauline was predeceased by her sister Dorothy, brothers Glen, Bill (Audrey), Ross and Eric McCrie, brothers and sisters-in-law Mac (Hazel) Bruton, Irma (Ralph) White, LeRoy (Ada), Harold (Frances), Gord (Edith), Ralph (Ina, Florence), Harvey (Bertha, Marion) and Eleanor (Clarence) Parker. The family would like to thank the staff of Lambton Meadowview Villa for their care and compassion.

SERVICE DETAILS
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10:00 until the funeral service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia. Rev. Deanna Gibson officiating.

DONATIONS
In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Brigden United Church – Canadian Foodgrains Bank or Lambton Meadowview Auxiliary.
