To John’s 3 beautiful daughters … your dad’s light continues to shine through you. Carry him with you every day and always keep the memories of him close to your heart.

  3. Dear Janet: your friends and former colleagues at Bradley Air Services / First Air were so saddened to learn of John’s passing. Even though so much time has passed since you and he worked for the company, you both are so fondly remembered by many of us still here. The company has made a donation in John’s memory to the Pacific Crest Trail Association which we hope brings you some small measure comfort. To you, and also your beautiful girls, we extend our most heartfelt sympathies. Sincerely from your First Air family.

  4. To the whole Bullbrook Family. We are so sad to hear of John’s passing. As I sit here, shortly after John’s 61 birthday, I just can’t believe that he is gone. John and I had spent a good part of our high school days together doing what kids do, and maybe a little more. Our friendship lasted for many years(45) even if we didn’t see each other for 5 or 10 years in between we would just pick up from where we left off. I have so many great memories of our trips skiing, golfing, trips to Florida, that I will have good thoughts of my friend for ever.

  5. My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Captain John Bullbrook. We were of similar seniority at First Air and as such did not fly together very often but like so many, I was well aware of the high regard that John was held in. We operated into Torbay on a dark and dirty night during my left seat checkout on the HS 748 with a full load of press reporters following the election circuit. After shutdown we put the aircraft to bed which included, maintenance made rubber pitot heat covers with orange streamers placed over the “supposedly turned off” heated pitot tubes. As we walked away, one of us looked over our shoulder, and said to the other, Did you turn the batteries off”. The other of us said, “I think so why. We both looked back and smelled and saw the rubber melting on the pilot tubes!!!! It took a lot of refreshment assisted “debriefing” to figure out who forgot what…… For some reason I don’t remember the final conclusion we reached together. So sorry for your loss Janet. Captain Stephen Guetta (AC Retired)

  7. To the Bullbrook Family
My sincere condolences. I am sure you are all heartbroken missing this kind loving father, brother and friend. John and i shared many good laughs in our young adult days. Although i had not seen him for years i often thought about him, wondering how he was and what he was doing. The last time i saw him was at his wedding in Ottawa. Times goes by too fast but memories never fade.
He will not be forgotten by myself and his friends from Sacred Heat and St Pats. Virtual hugs to all of you.

  8. Rob,Julie and family,
