CARPENTER, Mildred Ruby (nee Scott) (Saunders) – Age 83 of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance – Sydenham Campus. Beloved wife of the late William Saunders (1978) and Clifford Carpenter (2000). Loving mother of Wayne (Karen) Saunders of Wallaceburg and Wanda (Robert) Cook of Sombra. Cherished grandmother of Tammy Saunders (Mike), Bill (Mary) Cook, Kenny (Barb) Cook, Rachel and Julie Saunders. Great-grandmother of Danielle, Hayley, Emilee Tofflemire, Blake and Logan Cook, Patricia Cook. Dear sister of Glen (Marie) Scott, Gary (late Kay) Scott, Melvin (Ruth Ann) Scott and sister-in-law of Elizabeth Hollis. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Scott, siblings Alice (Ernie) Hunt, Frank Scott, Clifford Scott, Janey McIndoo and James Scott. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00am from the funeral home. Interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Sydenham Campus or St. Joseph’s Hospice.
