CARSWELL-ALEXANDER, “Pat” Patrica Jean – Age 61 of Brigden, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Loving mother of Ben Alexander (Amanda Stones) and Christyann Alexander. Cherished grandmother of Keegan Alexander. Loving daughter of the late Floyd and Jean Carswell. Pat was the owner and operator of the Corunna License Bureau for many years. She will be sadly missed by her dog Misty.

A private family graveside service will be held at Moore Union Cemetery, Mooretown.

  1. My family and I were so sad to hear of Pat’s passing. Her cheerful attitude was such a joy to everyone who knew her–everyone who passed through the license office and so many more. She will be sadly missed. Condolences to the family.

  5. Pat will be missed in the Sarnia Lambton community. My condolences to the family. She always helped me to navigate through the process at the MTO. Many people I know went there because of her knowlege and her helpfulness.

  6. As a long time member of the Sarnia Street Machines and an old car owner I visited Pat in Corunna whenever I needed licence plates, stickers, drivers licence renewals or information on my old car ownership that was needed to be carried in the car in case the” pollution police” stopped me and checked the engine for pollution controls etc. Pat was always friendly and knew where to find what I required. .I got the impression that Pat had a special place in her heart for us old car guys,. She always smiled at me and seemed to know that I was an old car guy and a Sarnia Street Machine member. I will still carry on going to Corunna Licence Bureau but will always look at Pat’s desk only to find her not there. I will miss her.

We all bonded over delicious food, lots of great conversations and hilarious themes. She really was the one who kept it going and organized.   17. We are so sad to hear of Pat’s untimely passing. Pat was an interesting lady; she had a special way of making you feel better after talking with her and she made you laugh in spite of yourself. Pat was a great asset to the Triple C Woodcarving Group and served as its president at one time.
