DALEY, Helena Elsje Elisabeth – Age 90 of Tupperville, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham. Beloved wife of the late Harold Daley. Loving mother of Millie Ronson, Scott and Cheryl Daley, Kevin Daley and Sandy, Robin and Dan Dymock, Jamie Daley and Ruby. Cherished grandmother of Zachary, Adam (Missy), Erin (Jon), Angel, Jon (Kim), Jolene, Tyler, Jeff (Mandy), Chelsey (Paul), Josh and Jade. Great-grandmother of Amber, Jacob, Eric, Jayden, Dejana, Avary, Mya, Autumn, Micah, Layla, Cole, Taylor and Trey. Predeceased by her parents Johannes and Grietje (nee Verkerk) De-Waal, son Alfred Daley and her brother Hans Hellendoorn.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11:00am from the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. Rev. Cathy Larmond will be officiating.

  3. My deepest sympathies to the family of Helen Daley. My few encounters with this strong interesting lady are memorable. I especially enjoyed her sharing her ‘war bride’ story at the Historical Society Meeting ( promoted by her history journaling daughter Robin:) I admired her optimism and warmth and feel she was an inspiring matriarchal influence. I’m sure you have great memories of her.
