DOUGLAS, James Arthur – Age 64 of Wilkesport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved husband of the late Jackeline Mary Douglas (nee Beauvais) (2015) for 43 years. Loving father to Robert Douglas and Angela (Jason) Bell. Cherished grandfather to Maddison and Matthew. Dear brother of Richard (Donna) Douglas, Elizabeth “Betty” (Fred) Smit, Ilyne (Dean) Wolsey, Sandra (Leo) Laur, Audrey (Bob) Jarvis. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Donald (2009) and Shirley (nee Taylor) (2004) Douglas and infant brother Robert Douglas (1950).
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 3-5pm and Wednesday, October 5, 2015 from 3-5pm.
Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Black Creek Cemetery.
