FOURNIE, Donald Gordon – Age 92 of RR#3 Sombra, passed away on Wednesday, July 03, 2024 at his home. Beloved husband of the late Doris Ilene (nee Bullock 2022) for 66 years. Dear Brother of the late Harold (Eloise 2023) and the late Frank (Linda). Predeceased by his parents Burton and Mona Fournie. Survived by many nieces and nephews and his sister in law Mary Ellen (Al) Scott. Don will be missed by all who knew him. A special thank you to Nicole, Jessica and Danny.
Funeral Details
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 12pm with a 1 hour prior visitation at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home, Brigden. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Sombra.

I had the pleasure of caring for Don for just over a year. He was such a sweet funny kind hearted man; Who had a great sense of humour. He taught me so much over the last year. And told me so many of his best memories throughout his life. I’m glad Don is in heaven reunited with his beloved wife Doris. Rest in sweet paradise Don. I will miss you so much.
