  1. Vinnie and I met as neighbours. She lived in thee appartment directly above mine. (It’d be nice if I could see easily that which I’m typing on this phone but light grey words on a white background make it very difficult.) Vinnie held my attention easily by playin’ her guitar, her harmonica,& singing.0n one occasion, when I drove her to London airport for her trip to the Dom’Repub’,we sang French songs almost all the way there in Carrollynn Chrysler! Another time, I took her on a DayTrip surprise to a teddy bear hunt festival in London. I didn’t realize that they were not at all the teddy bears that I/we had thought. We had a lovely day all the same. Vinnie,Karrie,Lynda,Lyle,Patricio,& a few others often joined in the buildings hall room to celebrate holidays.More frequently we met in Karrie’s home to share life & make pleasant memories. My Mom,my eldest son and Sophie, Lyle,Lynda,Karrie,Patricio, Vinnie,& a couple of others met in my unit to celebrate my 51st natural birthday with karaoke ,food, drinks, gifts,& pleasant laughs/stories. It was a delight to hear Vinnie sing, play the guitar & harmonica. She operated a smartphone texting very well so long as she kept at it a couple of times a week or more. Patricio, Vinnie,& I regularly went to the riverside (St.Clair) to feed the ducks, geese,& other birds,& squirrels.Vinnie hosted us regularly and we hosted her. I took her out to Horton’s in ~SE 2o24. I last visited her in her suite in ~ late SE 2o25,(Floyd 2o21o911). Vinnie didn’t like my French yet she loves me & I love her.. Nurse, neighbour, Sister-in-Christ Jesus, a beloved lady. Till we meet again, Shalom! friend, neighbour, Brother Andrew, \○/ +~–<<<<< \\|//.

  2. My dear friend Vinnie, I was heartbroken to learn that you have gone to a better place. You were always so kind, approachable, and wonderful to be around. Since my move to Toronto and our drift from Sarnia, we haven’t connected as much, though we did keep in touch through letters and greeting cards. Hearing the news of your passing shattered my heart into countless pieces. You were truly a cherished friend, and your kindness touched everyone who knew you. I fondly remember your lovely collection of teddy bears and how I would come by to drop off a new one for you. I will miss you dearly, sweet lady; you brought light into the lives of others with your unique spirit. I love you, my friend.
