Janey Lynn Gray, also known as “Lella”, passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2023 with her loving husband, Bruce Gray, by her side. Janey was an incredible person full of love and comfort, intelligence and advice, and the most infectious laugh. She was born in Petrolia, spent most of her adult life in Wyoming and Bright’s Grove. She was a registered nurse, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and confidant. Janey will be forever and always missed by her husband, Bruce Gray, her son Brett and his wife Keely, their two children, Kaden and Makenna, their daughter Jana and her husband Jonathan and their daughter Kennedy, her brothers and their families, her husband’s family, and her best friend Cora-Lou Ewing. She is predeceased by her brother Larry Churchill, and her parents Muriel and Irving Churchill. Janey was an extremely caring, intelligent, unforgettable, and giving person.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be organized in the near future.

So sorry to hear this sad news about Janey. We worked together at St. Joseph Hospital and drove to worked when we were on the same shift. Janey was an amazing nurse and always had that beautiful smile. We shared many laughs. Treasure all those memories.

Bruce – So sorry to hear that your wife has passed away. Just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you and your Family at this very sad and difficult time.
I have been a nurse for 41 years and the first 15 years were spent working with Janey on 3 South at old St. Josephs Hospital in Sarnia. She was indeed a wonderful person, always smiling, very family focused, and a great nurse. I have many awesome memories of Janey from working as a nurse. She frequently talked about, and was very proud of her family. As young nurses, we always told Janey that Bruce looked like “Magnum”, she would just laugh. Her positive and enthusiastic presence was always felt at work.
