HILLMAN, James Barrie – Passed away peacefully with Deanna by his side on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care, Sarnia after battling cancer for the last 15 months. James Barrie was the son of the late Cameron and Adrice (nee Campbell) Hillman. He is survived by the love of this life (to quote him) Deanna (nee Core) who adored him, his daughter Katrina Hillman (Mike) and his son Kelly (Cathy) Ondrasek. Adoring grandfather of Kaylin James Hillman. He is also survived by his grandchildren Samantha, Leigha, Adam and 4 great-grandchildren who he was enjoying getting to know. Special brother of Cameron (late Terresa), Wayne (late Trudy), Audrey Beckett and Gail (Don) Rodzik. Predeceased by his sister Betty Zimmerman and brother Sinclair Hillman. He was a special uncle to Scott Hillman and Stacey (Chris) Brown and their families as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Everyone loved uncle Barrie. Jim is survived by his brother-in-law Dan (Janice) Core and sister-in-law Leona Seller and their families. Special thanks to Dr. Kim and Dr. Crombeen as well as Patty from Bayshore.

VISITATION / SERVICE DETAILS
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 10:00am to the time of the funeral at 12:00. The funeral will be officiated by his nephew-in-law Jonathan Seller.

  3. Sorry to hear that Barrie as I knew him growing up on Riverdale Ave, old Riverside, now Windsor, has gone to his maker. Lots of fond memories as I remember Barrie. Always wondered whatever happened to good old Barrie.
