HUNTER, Donald Roy – Peacefully at C.E.E Hospital, Petrolia, on Wednesday, October 23, Donald Roy Hunter passed away in his 87th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Irene (Sanders) (2010) and eldest daughter Debra Lynn (1962). Loving father of Diane (Barry) Giberson, Darlene (Dale) Butler and Brenda (Mark) Rainsberry. Very proud Grandpa to Amy (Paul) Landers, Mark (Renee) Giberson, Cody (Lisa) Butler, Dwight Butler, Marty Butler (Stefan) , Craig (Mandy) Rainsberry, Abby (Brett) Lashbrook, Chad Rainsberry (Lauren). Cherished Great Grandpa to Benjamin and Jacquelyn Landers, Ethan and Madison Butler, Hailey, Bentley and James Butler and Blake Lashbrook. Dear brother to Richard (the late Bernice) Hunter and Wayne (Barbara) Hunter. Brother-in-law to Helen (the late John) Moore and June (the late Jerry) Sanders and friend of Gladys Ross.
Don retired from the CNR police in 1991. He spent his retired years painting for people, following his favorite sports teams, cheering for his grandchildren in their sports endeavours, and chilling at “the trailer”.

Funeral Service
A private family service will take place at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home, Brigden.

Celebration of Life
Family and friends will be received at The Plympton-Wyoming Agricultural building (595 Main St, Wyoming, ON N0N 1T0) on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 3 pm to 6 pm for a celebration of Don’s life.
