JAQUES, Lyle Franklin – Age 77, of Oil Springs, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health – C.E.E. Site, Petrolia on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Beloved husband of Beth (nee Japp) Jaques for 55 years. Loving father of Shelli (Jim) Verbeek of Pain Court and Daryl (Teresa) Jaques of Petrolia. Dear grandfather of Brent (Eva) Baker, Meghan (Dean) Schives, Jeremy Baker, Amberly Jaques (Dillion) and Brandon Jaques. Survived by his sister-in-law Muriel Jaques and brother-in-law William Bryan. Predeceased by his parents Ed and Lena (nee Eagleson) Jaques, brothers Gerald Jaques and Russell (Dolores) Jaques, sisters Eleanor Bryan and Connie Johnson.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00pm.

PRIVATE FAMILY FUNERAL
A private family Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Oil Springs Cemetery on Monday, November 2, 2015.

DONATIONS
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian Cancer Society or C.E.E. Hospital Foundation.

  4. Hi Jaques cousins; I am sorry to hear of Lyles passing. I understand it has been a struggle, and he is finally at peace. Lyle will always be remembered by me in his quiet presence, but you should be listening when he said something, there was sometimes some real zingers in there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of trouble. We wish he hadn’t gone, but we can’t wish him back.
