IMG 5658KERSEY, John “Dennis” – Age 74, suddenly passed away at his home on Sunday, January 11th, 2026. Dennis will be very missed by his children Cheryl Kersey (William Salisbury) and Paul Kersey. Beloved husband of Anamaria. Special grandfather of Richard (Lee-Ann), Bradlee (Vanessa) and Raymond and great grandfather of Benjiman, Alexander, Dori and Sebastain. Dear brother of Denise McIntyre. Survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Freeman and Iona (nee Little) Kersey and his siblings Walter, Olive, Leroy, Catherine, Grant, Carlyle. Dennis will be missed by all who knew him. Dennis enjoyed going to the Toronto Blue Jays games, listening to music and going to concerts. He worked for over 30 years at A P Plassman. He was a very hardworker and held many jobs that included scrapmetal and cutting wood. Dennis was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.

Funeral Details
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services held at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home, Brigden. A celebration of Dennis’s life will be announced at a later date.

Don and family….sorry to hear of your Uncle Dennis Kersey passing away…I was introduced to him by an old friend and used to see him at alot of sporting events namely the Sarnia Sting Hockey games in Sarnia before I retired in 2010 and moved back to Windsor,Ont where I was born in 1959….my condolences to your entire family…
