KUCHROWY, John Alexander – Age 73 of Oil Springs, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. He was his own man, one of a kind and loved unconditionally by his family. Beloved husband of Linda Kuchrowy for 52 years. Loving father of Kelly Kuchrowy (Lowana). Cherished grandfather of Breanne (Nathan) and Mathew. Dear brother of Rosemary Tonkin (Megan and Gareth) and extended family. Predeceased by his daughter Dawn (2011), mother Anne (2013), father John (1990) and brother Bob (1972). His canine companion, Clifford, has lost his buddy. John loved to fish and spend time boating with family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Maddison and the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their wonderful support and care of John during the last two weeks. A special thanks to Don Kersey, Doug Hacking and his visiting nurse, Cynthia.
At John’s request there will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place.
