LAPIER pic3LAPIER, Joseph Carlyle – Age 73 of Oil Springs passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Bluewater Health, C.E.E. Site, Petrolia. Beloved husband of the late Helen Marie (Taylor) LaPier (2013). Loving father of Margaret (Patrick) Uhlman of Brigden and Jo Ann (Kevin) Coulter of Alvinston. Cherished grandfather of Mitchell, Bridon, Jamie, Travis and Caitlin. Survived by sisters Sally (Jack) Selinger, Mary Elizabeth (John) McKegan and brother Thomas (Marlene) LaPier. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Agnes (Neville) LaPier and siblings Catherine, George, Margaret, Jack, Patricia, Charles and James.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden. Prayers will be offered at 3:45pm.

FUNERAL MASS
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Phillips Catholic Church, 415 King Street, Petrolia. Father Tony Del Ciancio officiating. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Corunna.

DONATIONS
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian Cancer Society or C.E.E. Hospital Foundation.

    We are so sorry to here about your father’s passing. Sorry that we can’t be there in person but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
    It is so hard to move on when we lose someone like out Dads – they are the rock of our families, the ones that kept our famiilies together.
    Just know that he will be with you and will carry you when you can’t find the strength to stand on your own.
