img_2551LONGLEY, Jacqueline Katherine – With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Jacqueline Katherine Longley (nee Pettit) of St. Clair Township. She passed away with her family by her side after a courageous battle on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved wife of Howard Longley for 50 years. Loving mother of Kathy Tucker (Paul Saunders) and Krista (Dan) Turner. Treasured grandma to Danielle Tucker, Brock, Evan, Kate and Ava Turner. Jackie followed her grandchildren to many different fields and arenas to watch them play baseball, soccer, lacrosse and her favourite, hockey. She enjoyed watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. Jackie was retired from Bell Canada. May she rest in peace after years of struggles with cancer and heart disease.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00am from the Funeral Home.

DONATIONS
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Bluewater Health – Palliative Care.

The girls may not remember me but I watched them grow up over the years and become parents and saw that you all had a wonderful time together. It will be hard to carry on but Jackie would want you all to have full and good lives. Hope to see you soon Howard. I was trying to get out to the funeral
    home but was not able to as I needed dressing change today and tomorrow I will be at the hospital for my pre-op checkup with the nurses and anethesioligest. Best to you all.

  23. I have known Jackie and Howard for over 40 years. She was so friendly, a fantastic cook and loved her family deeply.. She was also braver than anyone I know in her health battles. I never heard her complain. Her sense of humour was epic.
