  1. We are crushed to have stumbled upon this dreadful news. Cole was one of the first people we met when we moved to southern Ontario in 2019. He came to London as part of a small crew to do renovations on the house we had bought, taking great pride in his work. Rather than travelling back and forth to Sarnia, Cole lived with us for the better part of six weeks and even spent his 26th birthday with us. We delighted in surprising him with a small celebration—cake and all. Cole carried with him an air of peace, always smiling with genuine warmth. We enjoyed his clever sense of humour and held out great hope for his future. The loss of this fine young man is a terrible tragedy for the world, and an immeasurable one for those who knew him better and loved him even more. Our most heartfelt condolences to his family.
