McDONALD, Dennis Murray – Age 73 of Brigden, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Cheryl McDonald (nee Holbrough) for 49 years. Loving father of Darryl (Shelly Xie) McDonald of Toronto and Michelle (Zack) Young of Port Sanilac, Michigan. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Sean, Shea and Ryan McDonald. Dear brother of Ruth (late Fred) Harris. Survived by brother and sister-in-laws as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Murray and Dorothy (Moses) McDonald.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 1-4pm.

MEMORIAL SERVICE
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00am from the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. Rev. Jill Rogers officiating.

DONATIONS

  4. Our sincere sympathy to you and all of your family. Our apologies for not being able to come to the funeral home. We are out visiting our youngest son in fort Saskatchewan Alberta and won’t be home until late Saturday.

    I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Dennis. I wish we had been closer over the last several years. I have many fond memories of Dennis as a child out at Aunt Dots and Uncle Muz’s farm when we were young. Dad is not up to the journey to Brigden but please know we are thinking of you.
