McINTYRE, Kenneth Lavern – age 76 of Oil Springs, passed away on Thursday, May 04, 2023 at Bluewater Heath, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Norma (Nee Cameron) for 53 years. Special father to the late Karen Louise Jones (2021), Shari (1974) and Jodi (1976). Dear father-in-law to Allen Jones, brother to Helen (Dwayne) Babcock, sister-in-law Denise McIntyre, brother-in-law Fred Cameron, sisters-in-law Donna Cameron, and Bernice (John) Sloan. Ken will be missed by many friends, cousins and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Amos and Marie McIntyre and in-laws Marshall and Gladys Cameron, brother Bill McIntyre and his brother-in-law Murray Cameron, sister-in-law Donna Whitehead and nephew Tim McIntyre.  Ken was proudly involved in Scouting, a long time member of the Oil Springs Fire Department and the Oil Springs United Church which he was a trustee and Steward for the church. The McIntyre family would like to thank Dr. Li, Dr. Lam, Dr. Tang, Stacey from Care Partners, Dr. Maddison and everyone else who was involved with Kens care.

Visitation
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday May 09, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, BRIGDEN.

Funeral Service
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11 am from the funeral home. A private family graveside service will take place at Oil Springs Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Oil Springs Fire Department Association or The Oil Springs United Church.
