Dear Brian, Jerry and the extended family of Lorne. We heard yesterday that your dad went home to heaven. He lived an amazingly long life and now he is at home with His Saviour and Lord. Both he and Edna were so kind to me whenever I was in their home. I could not have been more warmly and lovingly received and entertained.. Lorne and I travelled many miles together, especially going to Egg Habor, now Jasonport assembly.in Wisconsin. He was a beloved brother in the Lord. He loved to tell how he got saved, which was in the year 1960 I could not tell you how many times I heard his testimony when visiting door to door. I have his testimony that he wrote in a tract entitled ‘My Salvation’. He never forgot when God in HIs grace brought the gospel across his pathway of life at the age of 29.
Not only did Lorne love the gospel but he also loved the assembly of God. He will be greatly missed. I am sorry I cannot come to the funeral. Our thoughts and our prayers will be with you all.
Yours by HIs Grace,
Eugene and Ruth Badgley
very sorry for your loss.
