Resized Screenshot 20220929 101406 MessengerMONTEITH, Reginald Duncan – Age 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved husband and best friend of Mavis (nee Matthews) Monteith for 60 years. Loving father of Matthew (Karen), Jamie (Kristal), Dee (Don) Berkvens and Jodi (Jeff) Gilhuly. Special Papa of Kale, Tye, Reece, Valley, Parker, Jinjer (Levi), Grace, Madisun (Brock), Hannah, Brady and great Papa of Beau and Ember. Survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles/Morley and Edythe, his siblings Edna (Slug) Phillips, Robert, Tom, and his son-in-law Steve Johnston. Reg will be missed by all who knew him, he was an avid gun collector and loved to hunt and fish. Reg was very committed to his family and community, he lived next to the Sombra ballpark for 53 years and enjoyed the benefits of small town living.

Funeral Details
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 1 to 4pm at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home, Brigden. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or Sombra Sports and Recreation.
