NISBET, Blake Somerville – Peacefully surrounded by family and friends at age 87, formerly of Mooretown and Corunna, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia. Blake is reunited with his beloved wife Anne (nee Young) (2011). Loving father of Calvin (Colleen) Nisbet and Dianne (David) Dunn. Dear grandfather of Taylor Nisbet, Tanner Nisbet, Tarrin Wright, Stephen (Kryssy) Dunn, Stacey (Abdul) Enani and 6 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Charles (Isobel) Nisbet and in-laws Donald (Teresa) Young, Margaret (Bruce) MacPherson. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Stuart and Cora (nee Eyre) Nisbet, sister Velma (Harry) Boyle and Grace (Donald) Turnbull. Blake was a very well respected farmer.
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Moore Union Cemetery.
