  1. It is with shock and sadness that I just now learned of Dave’s death. I met Dave at a Rotary summer camp in 1964 and we reconnected while working as waiters and later bellmen at Banff in 1966 through 1968. He was a good and generous friend in Toronto in 1969/70 but we lost touch as our careers developed. He embraced life as much as anyone that I ever had the pleasure of knowing
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of such a very fine man

  2. I just found out about Dr. Parr’s passing. I am very saddened by the news. Dr. Parr took care of my family (mother and father, brother, my son) for over 40 years. He was a great dentist. I was very sad to have to get a new dentist. He will be missed. I hope he got my card thanking him for his great care over the years.
    My condolences to his family.

  3. Distance and time over the years had separated our friendship that David and I had through high school and attending school in Windsor. Friends from Petrolia have shared his life’s path. May he have peace. My condolence to his family and Mary Ann.

  4. I worked for and dearly loved David’s mother and father- Audrey and Raymond Parr in the late 60’s/early 70s. They spoke so beautifully of their children (David and Mary Ann) that I know David was much loved and will leave a gap in many lives. My condolences. Ruth (Aicken) Olde

  5. Maryanne and David’s family, so sorry to hear about David’s passing. As a little girl growing up in Brigden, David was someone we all looked up too. In 1969 my Dad (Dean Core) took our family to Banff to see David and he graciously took us on a tour of the Banff Springs Hotel. Know that your in my thoughts and prayers.
