PATTERSON, John Wesley – Age 81 of Oil City, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Bluewater Health – C.E.E. Site, Petrolia. Beloved husband of the late Lynn “Cheryl” (nee Anderson) Patterson (2014) for 40 years. Loving father of Randy (Delores) Patterson of Oil Springs, Larry Patterson of Sarnia, Terry Patterson of Oil Springs, Scott (Troy) McDonald of Oil City and Kelly (Norm) Tuckwell of Fergus. Cherished grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Wayne (Cathy) Patterson and Lyle Patterson. Predeceased by his parents Arnold and Frances (Knapp) Patterson and Earl Roberts. Wes was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 216, Petrolia, a proud Life Member and Past Master of Alexander Inwood No. 158 Masonic Lodge, York Rite – Bruce Chapter, A.M.D. No. 214, High Priesthood No. 1, Conclave No. 31, Preceptory No. 37, Scottish Rite No. 32, Lodge of Perfection, Knight of the Rose Croix, York Rite College No. 35, the Lambton Shrine Club, Mocha Temple London, Lambton Motor Corps Sarnia. Wes was employed as an Underwriter and Broke with Equitable Life of Canada for 40 years.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

MASONIC SERVICE
A Masonic Lodge Service will be held on Thursday evening at 6:30pm.

MEMORIAL SERVICE
Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00am from the funeral home. Interment of ashes at Oil Springs Cemetery.

DONATIONS
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Mocha Shriners or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
