January 29, 1935 ~ January 25, 2022

Margaret “Joanne” Randall passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022 at Lambton Meadowview Villa. She would have been celebrating her 87th birthday on January 29, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband William Randall, her daughter Coralie (Bill) Garrett and her son Dan (Kim) Randall. Joanne will be very missed by her grandchildren Katie, Rachel, and Jodi Garrett; and Rebecca, Matthew, and Michael Randall; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Gerald (Mildred) Mitchell, Jean (Bill) Cascaden, Evelyn (Al) Adams, Vivian (Ray) Gasco, and Raymond Mitchell. Joanne was a devoted member of the United Church, the Rebekah Lodge, Oil Springs Legion, the United Church Women, Red Hat Society, a former Brownie leader, and a Sunday School teacher. Up until her death, Joanne still maintained her sense of humour, wit, sarcasm, and kept us on our toes. We will greatly miss her and will always have her in our hearts. A special thank you to all the staff at Lambton Meadowview Villa for their compassionate care.

Visitation
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Friday January 28. Due to Covid-19 restriction, those who wish to attend must wear a mask and RSVP with a time to attend the visitation at https://signup.com/go/OWMyBDP.

Funeral Service
A private family funeral service will take place at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Saturday January 29. Friends and family can join us on Zoom   https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87995557590 at 10 am.

  17. My condolences to the Randall family. Joanne was a great lady with a beautiful smile and so enthusiastic with everything she did. I got to know Joanne through UCW. She was the President of Oil Springs UCW for many years and faithfully attended the Lambton Presbyterial UCW meetings. She also served on our Executive as Vice-President of Region 4 and we were grateful for all the work she did. She was a table mate of my Mother, Hazel Parker when Mom was at Meadowview.   36. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Joanne had been a pretty vibrant person in the community. She and Bill enjoyed coming out to card parties at St. Philip’s church in Petrolia. Joanne also enjoyed taking part in the Coffee Plus Wednesday morning group at St. Philip’s until the group folded. Rest in peace Joanne.
