Randall, William

August 02, 1935 ~ November 06, 2023

Randall, William George – Trucker Bill, affectionately known as “Bubbie” to his grandchildren, passed away at the age of 88 on November 6th, 2023. He completed the final run of his life with his family by his side. He was formerly a resident of Oil Springs and called Lambton Meadowview Villa his home for the past 3 years. Dear husband of the late Joanne Randall, loving father of Coralie (Bill) Garrett, and Dan (Kim) Randall. Cherished grandfather of Katie (Ali) Garrett, Rachel Garrett, Jodi Garrett, Rebecca (Nathan) Randall, Matthew Randall and Michael Randall. He had four great grandchildren and four great fur babies. He is also survived by brothers Melvin (late Donna) Randall, Ken (Mary) Randall, Ross Randall, Claude (Janice) Randall, and his sister RuthAnne Nadeau. He is predeceased by his parents Dan and Verna Randall. Bill was a professional truck driver for 55 years and never had an “at fault accident”, he was a volunteer for the Oil Springs fire department for many years and ran the projector at the Oil Springs United Church Sunday School. He will be remembered for his sharp one liners, love for peanut butter and hot sauce (he put that s*it on everything), his passion for bingo, card parties and scratch tickets, and his selflessness. We will miss him each and every single day and cherish the memories that we hold close to our hearts. A special thanks to the staff at Lambton Meadowview Villa for their compassionate care.
