6. Shirley and family. So sad to hear of Rick’s passing. He was a person that loved music so much and could still dance up a storm and we always enjoyed watching you and Rick glide effortlessly across the dance floor enjoying each other. Rick enjoyed telling stories and we enjoyed hearing them. From the 1st time that we met at the Brigden fair jam a few years ago, Rick treated us like we were long time friends and I’ve always admired him for that. We have shared the same table at the Thedford jams with you and Rick and friends many times and loved every minute of it. Rick was a very lucky man to have you in his life Shirley. He was a good man and we will never forget his gentle nature.

    I have such fond memories of Rick from playing with grandpa at my wedding, Rick getting up and stepdancing at Grandpa’s funeral ( it was so perfect) and all of the many fiddle contests where we enjoyed his zeal and many musical talents. He will be missed by all who knew him.
