May God give you comfort and peace, during this difficult time. I am sorry we will not be able to attend the funeral, due to health reasons. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

  2. Alice May, your mother was a one of a kind, amazing woman, and she will be missed. I have so many memories of her from seeing her in Essex over the years, and enjoying her company at the Arnold reunions. My Dad always enjoyed her so much.. I’m sorry that I can not attend the visitation or funeral ,but please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Alice May & Family Sincere sympathy on the loss of your Mom. She lived a good long life, you will have lots of memories of your happy times together. Marie Sheppard

  4. Alice May, Hearing of your mother’s death brought back so many good memories of my time spent on the farm on the 6th line of Moore. Those were formative days for me, learning the value of labour, responsibility for creation, care of animals, the challenges of family farms in S. Ontario, and sharing in the joy of your family. Your mom and dad have been special people in my life who offered me a time which significantly influenced my choice to attend the University of Guleph, study food processing and even beyond that fulfilling a call in to ministry. Your mother was a force to be reckoned with, possessing a heart of gold and a strong love for the communities she was a part of. She could ‘plough the fields and scatter,’ ‘bake up a storm’ and dance at night too. What a proud mother and grandmother she was! Thank you for your care and patience, particularly in these final years. God bless your loved ones!
