ROBSON, Evleen “Joy” – At the age of 85, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved wife of Bill Robson for 56 years. Survived by her sons Billy Robson, David Robson and Bert Robson.Lovingly missed by her grandchildren Emily and Kyle.Survived by her siblings Frances, Kathleen, Ina, Noel and Jack. Loved aunt of Stephanie (Dan) and Sharon (Paul).Predeceased by her parents Robert and Elizabeth Scott and brothers Roy, Billy, Artie and Logan. Greenhill Gardens was a passion and a dream that Joy donated her time and effort to give back to the community she adored.

Visitation
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

Funeral Service:
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00am at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Sombra.

Reception
A reception will be held at the Wilkesport Community Center following the funeral service.

Donations
Sympathy may be expressed through donation to Canadian Cancer Society.

  3. So sorry to hear of Joy’s passing. Dad (Frank Martin) did a lot of work for Bill and Joy and he always had a story to tell about Joy, he thoroughly enjoyed her. Her Gardens are wonderful and a lasting tribute to her.

  9. Joy you are going to be missed by so many. Joy came into our lives in 1999 during our fall hunting season. Right away…we knew we were going to like this feisty woman. & yes she held her own, as you can imagine..raising 3 boys.Our deepest sympathy to you all at this time Bill & family. Joy was a remarkable woman. We loved having her up here Hunting at Silv’ry Moon Lodge. We will always remember the year she got her moose. The boys were sure proud of her. She ran into the cabin to put on her red lipstick & straighten her hair as any proper lady would. She was just beaming. We will cherish that picture always.   11. My condolences ti Bill and the boys. I had the pleasure of attending the party at the Gardens this year with my brother Bob and his wife Sharon, and yes Joy smiled the whole time. I also met Bill and Joy at the Chatham hospital a couple of weeks ago. She was still smiling even though things sounded very grim. Rest in peace Joy.

She was a very generous person. .Bill and Joy held their annual picnic party at the gardens inviting many. It was ejoyed by all.. She smiled all the time at the party. Joy has truly left a great legacy for all to see. Our entire church family will truly miss her…

  15. Joy was one of those people that you would never forget once you met them and she was always nice to me making me always feel welcome at her home.
    Not being one to be trifled with, I never did nor ever would of because she had command presence, and of course, I knew better anyway. Her smile, that red hair, and her witty Irish accent made her a one of a kind person.
