ROBSON, William George “Bill” – At the age of 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved husband and best friend of Joani. Loving father of Billy Robson, David Robson and Bert Robson.  Special grandfather of Emily and Kyle. Dear brother of Ruby Mandryk and Charlotte Robson. Survived by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bill will be missed by all who knew him. Bill owned Robson Farms in Sombra, which is managed by Bob VanDamme. Bill enjoyed researching on Civil War history, hunting and collecting decoys.

Visitation 
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, those who wish to attend must RSVP with a time to attend the visitation: https://signup.com/login/entry/906986175758490050. Please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory for those in attendance.

Funeral Service
A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home. The service will be streamed on Zoom by the following link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82818858983– Meeting ID: 828 1885 8983. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Sombra.

  1. On behalf of the Dunn family I would like to send out deepest condolences to the Robson family. My parents Norah (who nursed with Joy in England and Tony Dunn) along with my brother Michael and myself Ruth Burns, lived at the farm in Sombra when we first arrived in Canada, many, many years ago. We visited often in those early years and were always welcomed with open arms and had great visits. .Very sorry for your loss Ruth Dunn Burns

  9. My condolences go out to all the Robson family and his many friends. My regret is that I missed the opportunity before Covid 19 to visit especially during his birthday celebration. I am happy to have taken him to Civil War Graves while he was in the USA attending our family reunion. He had a special interest in history, especially the Civil War.
