ROGERS, Glenn Johnston – surrounded by family, Glenn passed away at C.E.E. hospital, Petrolia on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Edith (Ellenor) for 59 years. He is predeceased by his parents William and Stella (Johnston) and his sisters Kathleen Burnard (Reginald) and Marion Hyatt (Ross). Loving father of Catherine Rogers (Pat Clark) and Thomas Rogers (Lisa). Grandfather of Stephanie, Rachel and Emma. Glenn will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbours in the Brigden community, where he lived and worked the family farm.

Funeral Details
Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.

  1. Have many fond memories of Glenn and myself from the days at the Brigden Co-op from the late 80s to the late 90s. He was a trusted friend truly was one of the best . And I will now miss the opportunity to just stop and visit with him..Rest in peace my friend.

    As we mourn the loss of my grandfather, it makes us realize that nothing is more painful in this world then losing someone you love so dearly. It breaks our heart to come to terms that he is no longer with us. We will cherish all the wonderful memories that we share together.

  6. sorry to hear of Glen’s passing Edith, he was a good friend to Lee B. and I when we walked the railway tracks from Brigden to visit him on Saturdays years ago.

    I am saddened to lose another cousin.Only one cousin left in our generation of the Nisbet/Rogers families,
    I remember the good times we had as kids, great family picnics, and wintertime sledding on the little hills at Uncle Willies. Sending love and sympathy.
