RUMBOLD, Charles Melvin – Age 94 of Petrolia, formerly of Brigden, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Bluewater Health, C.E.E. Site, Petrolia. Beloved husband of Ruby Rumbold (nee Hiller) for 74 years. Loving father of Ken (Shirley) Rumbold, Doris (Gus) Gostick.Cherished grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of 4.Survived by his sister-in-law Hazel Rumbold and many nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Lena (nee Armstong) Rumbold, brothers Delmer Rumbold, Edward (Nancy) Rumbold, and sisters Helen (Orlo) Fournie, Louise (Clayton) Matthews.

Visitation
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden.

Graveside Service
A private family graveside will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery.

Donations
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to C.E.E. Hospital Foundation or Albany Retirement Village.

  4. I’m so happy my Mom and I saw Uncle Melvin and you all earlier this year. Our visit with Uncle Melvin was short although he was determined to get out of bed to see us. 🙂 I really enjoyed the time and visit with you Aunt Ruby.
