rsz_grandmaSCOTT, Kathleen “Kay” (Shepley) – Age 84, of Sombra passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia, on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Beloved wife of Roderick “Gary” Scott for 65 years. Loving mother of John (Janet) Scott, Brigden; Roberta (John) Vandevenne, Corunna; Alvin (Kathy) Scott, Brigden; Lee (Bonnie) Scott, Oil Springs; Luann (Doug) Babcock, Brigden. Dear grandmother “Granny” to 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Raymond Shepley; Helen McGaffey; John Shepley; Winnifred Klingbile; Clara McNaughton; Edith McNaughton and their spouses, and sister-in-law Ann Shepley. Special friend to Keith, Chrissy & Dylan Hiltz. Predeceased by her parents, Alvin & Clara (Makey) Shepley; step-mother Alvera (Brown) Shepley; brothers Edwin Shepley; Wilbert Shepley as well as 1 brother-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law; son Andrew Scott; and an infant grandson.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

LODGE SERVICE
Sunset Rebecca Lodge #185 Sombra will conduct a memorial service at 3:45pm.
FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 am from the funeral home. Interment of ashes to follow at Wilkesport Cemetery.

DONATIONS
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice.

  2. So sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. We have fond memories of Kay bowling with us years ago in Courtright. She always had a smile. Sincere condolences to the Scott and Shepley families.

  3. I offer my greatest sympathy to you, Gary, and to your wonderful family. I always enjoyed my visits with you and Kay, and it was wonderful to meet your family, as well. The energy of grandchildren seems to raise our spirits and give us life. I could see that in Kay’s face too. Blessings to all of you.
