SCOTT, Shirley – Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, Shirley passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Lambton Meadowview Villa. She was 94 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Charles Scott (1998). Loving mother to Don (Karen), Tom (Lucy) and Ric (Colleen). Adored Gram to Brad (Jen) Scott, Jennifer (Max) Derrick, Ryan (Karlene) Scott, Bobbi and James Clark, Sarah (Jake) Scott-Molnar, Armanda (Craig) Brodie, Jameson (Jamison) Scott. Great Gram to Kelby, Kaeley, Cole, Adam, Jake, Keegan, Hudson, Richie, Grayson, Kalan, Owen and Violet. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Reta Smith, brother Robert Smith, brothers-in-law James Scott, Melvin Newman, sisters -in-law Joan Smith and Margaret Newman. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Shirley’s entire life centered around her family and the farm she loved. Those who were lucky enough to know her enjoyed many a good meal and fantastic baking while visiting. She enjoyed a game of cards, quilting and knitting but most of all being with family and friends. She had a passion for her pets and farm animals.

There will be no visitation as per Shirley’s wishes. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial at Bear Creek Cemetery and Celebration of Life will take place in the spring.

  1. Deepest condolences to the Scott family, Although we have not been able to visit Shirley in many years every time we did she was the most amazing woman. Always loved the farm and cooking,but most of all I can’t thank her enough for looking after my Grandma. Alice Laur You will truly be missed
