SITZES, Oliver “Jarve” – Age 73 of Sarnia passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Four Counties Hospital, Newbury. Beloved husband of Jean (Lafond) Sitzes for 39 years. Loving father of Maureen Ryan, Duane Sitzes, Doreen Sitzes (Greg Bell), Richard Sitzes (Carly Egan), Clement Gosselin, Colin Sitzes. Cherished grandfather of Josh, Michelle, Damian, Olivia, Jade, Zack and Heidi as well as several great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Gary (Ethel) Sitzes and Larry Sitzes and sister Mary MacKinley. Jarve was a very hopeful man and never gave up on his Maple Leafs. He also loved his faithful animals and his art.
Following his wishes a private family service was held followed by cremation. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia Humane Society.
