rsz_1smith_pic2SMITH, Kenneth Wilson – Age 95, of St. Clair Township, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Jarvis) Smith for 64 years. Loving father of Kenneth Jr. Smith and Randy (Michele) Smith, all of St. Clair Township. Cherished grandfather of Rodney (Christine) Smith, Justin (Jess) Smith, Nicole (Jesse) Braswell, Larissa Smith, Miranda Smith (Wes MacNeil), Bailee Smith and Addison Smith. Dear great-grandfather of Clara Smith, Dean Smith and Blakley Braswell. Survived by his sister-in-law Violet Smith as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Mabel (nee Wilson) Smith, brothers Carmen (Pearl) Smith and James Smith. Ken was an active member of Knox Moore Presbyterian Church where he served as a member of the session for 37 years, 33 years as clerk of session and also was a past member of the board. Ken was a crane operator with Edge Water Construction for many years. Anyone who knew Ken knew of his avid gardening but his family was the love of his life.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Brigden on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 4-8pm.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11:00am from the Funeral Home. Rev. Margaret Bell officiating. Interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.

Our sincere condolences to Dorothy, Kenny, Randy and your families..you and the grandchildren and great grandchildren were the highlight if his life..
