STEWART, Robert John “Stubber” – Age 56 of Sombra, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his residence. Beloved son of Ruth and the late Charlie Stewart (1996). Survived by his sisters Connie Schinkel and her dear friend Ken Spacil of Blenheim and Ruth Ann Stewart of Sombra, aunt Catherine Stewart and several cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Mary and Louis Reynolds, Madeline and Francis Stewart, nephew Colin Schinkel, aunt and uncles Bruce and Charlotte Dockrill, Dick Stewart, Jim Stewart, Pat and Donna Stewart. Bob was a sprinkler fitter for many years then an iron worker until his health prevented him from working.

VISITATION
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 5-9pm at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, Brigden.

FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00am from the funeral home. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Sombra.

  1. My family was very good friends of his and he lived with my grandpa. He died when I was young and I loved him dearly. I never new his real name I just always thought it was Stubber. He was a very nice man and everyone who knew him was very sad when he passed. he was like family to me I grew up with him. I will never forget him
