SULLIVAN, Gregory, Gershaw – Age 66, of Corunna passed away Tuesday August 25, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Katherine (Hayward) (nee Rankin) Sullivan. Loving father of Tara Sullivan (Avi Miller), Sean Sullivan, Jeff Hayward (Lindsay Erlandson), Maren Hayward (Scott) Maenpaa), Amy (Pat) Dietrich. Dear grandfather of Nola Miller, Elle Dietrich, Ingrid and Emilia Maenpaa. Survived by his brother Richard “Herc” (Ellen) Sullivan and sisters Kathleen (Jim) Feltmate, Margaret Sullivan, Mary Sullivan Surette (Roger)as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Eugene and Edith (Gershaw) Sullivan. Greg worked in radio and television broadcasting as a station manager or sales manager. He donated his time to The Children’s Miracle Network and Ducks Unlimited. Cremation has taken place.

Services
Following Greg’s wishes there will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.

  1. I am so sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. Greg was my uncle (from his previous relationship). I remember Greg as a lover of good scotch and great conversation. My sincere condolences to Tara, Sean, Katherine, and the rest of his family. God’s Blessings Uncle Greg.

    Please accept my condolences on the loss of your brother (and friend). As you know, I knew Greg well during my St. Thomas University days and always enjoyed his company. Greg was an intelligent, caring individual; one who I will remember as a “giver” of his time and energy. Greg had a good sense of humor and always had the attention of whoever was in his company. As Greg for a favour and he would always say, “sure” – what can I do.

  8. Sorry to hear on Greg’s passing. I was a member of a Ducks Unlimited committee same time as Greg and conducted radio advertising with him also. Greg is well respected here and I considered him a friend in Amherst Nova Scotia .

  11. Katherin I was so saddened by the death of your husband Greg. I know he was very sick and it was terminal but it is sad for you no matter what. You are such a special person and this will be so difficult for you . You have made new friends here but I am sure most are back east. Mom and Dad will be very helpful as will the grandchildren.
