  9. Dear Dianne, Jessica and Roy: Our Appleton Family, Jenipher, Tommy, Andrew and I extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to you and yours at this most difficult of times. Bill was a man of extraordinary integrity with a brilliant mind. He was erudite from his lifelong devotion to both formal and self study. And yet, with all of such attributes within his grasp, he distributed his knowledge in the best interests of those he served, with humility. He was a true professional, and I admired him. Bill had an uncanny ability to quote passages from the works of our world’s most esteemed poets, and to correlate the same to contemporary issues. His innate sense of humour was infectious and he enhanced with his erudition the lives of those of us who were fortunate to fall within his presence. Our Appleton Family was blessed to have known Bill as a friend, and we shall carry his spirit within us, forever and a day.
    Our love to you all,
Tom, Jenipher, Tommy and Andrew Appleton

  10. Please accept our sympathies. Our thoughts are with you. We remember Bills sense of humor, he made people smile, what a wonderful legacy to leave.

  11. I was fortunate enough to start out my legal assistant career with Bill. He took a chance on a young girl who knew nothing about the legal field, however, through his patience and teachings taught me everything I know today. Bill, Jill and I shared alot of laughs in the office…there truly was never a dull moment. I had the pleasure of watching Jessica and Roy grow from a toddler and infant to fine young adults. Dianne, Jessica, Roy and family I am so deeply sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers through this most difficult time. Rest in peace Bill. xoxo Scott and Nordean Wellington

  12. Dianne and family, my sincere and deepest sympathies for your loss. The chats in his office provided comfort and several bouts of laughter. I hope the memories of Bill will give you comfort and your faith give you peace.

  13. I had the opportunity to work for Bill for many years and we shared many laughs because of his sense of humour and great spirit. He showed me what true strength and courage really was and I will continue to miss him for the rest of my life. Dianne, Jessica, Ryan and Roy, enjoy your newborn and know that the Tennyson spirit will live on in Quinn. Rest in peace Bill. You’ve had a long journey home. Jill Arnold
