Linda Vachon passed away peacefully on February 9, at the age of 76, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Linda found her greatest joy in time spent with family. She loved to cook and bake, always preparing everyone’s favorite dishes when loved ones came to visit. She had a passion for cross-stitching and was an active member of a sewing club, where she cherished time spent with dear friends. Linda enjoyed golfing — never sending the ball far, but always straight — and especially treasured the moments she shared with her youngest grandchildren. She was proud of her extended family across Canada and held them close to her heart. Linda is lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert; her daughter, Lisa (Steve); and her sons, Rick, Michael (Sherry), and Chad (Lyndsay). She was predeceased by her son, Derek; her parents, Charles and Violet Donnelly; and her siblings, Lloyd Newton, Billy Donnelly, Velma Landry, and Hazel Rouleau. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Lambton Meadowview Villa for the exceptional care they provided Linda over the past six years. In keeping with Linda’s wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.https://alzheimer.ca/
