June 19, 1954 ~ August 30, 2020

WELCH, Bonnie Jean – Age 66, of Sarnia, passed away at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on August 30, 2020. Beloved wife and best friend of John. Loving mother of Jennifer (Brad) and Angie (Dale). Special grandma of several grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dear sister of Dale (Cathy) McDonald. Survived by mother in law Jaqueline (the late Paul) Simmons, brother in law Mike Simmons, sister in law Lynn Zachmeyer and many friends, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Gerald and Jean (Schlotzhauer) McDonald and siblings Myrna Pettit, Murray, Gary, Allen and John. Bonnie will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Details
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no visitations or services at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, BRIGDEN. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.

  1. So sorry to hear of Bonnie’s passing. I have not seen her for a while but I know her children and her family were her life. I will always remember her with that larger than life smile and personality. I know you may not feel it now, but time does heal and all the good and wonderful memories that you have of her I will never leave you. Thinking of all of you.

  8. So sad to hear this news! Bonnie and John were my neighbours in Bedford Dr and I couldn’t ask for better neighbors! So friendly and helpful! She loved all animals, especially feeding the squirrels. RIP my friend and condolences to her family.
